Personal Statement
I have been playing softball since I was about ten, and immediately I fell in love with the game. I love feeling all the excitement of the game, and to be around girls who love playing ball on those early morning weekends as much as I do. To me softball is not just a sport but a way of life. I put everything I have into playing, I have put in a lot of hard work and dedication to make myself better everyday so that one day I can play college ball. I'm not just a player but a leader. I want to be the one on my team that brings everyone up from a bad game or a bad play. I want my team to know that there is a leader on the team and someone who will always have their back. I just don't play for me but I play for my team, I play for the younger softball player in the stands that sees me as a role model. I want to be a player that a coach can look at and know that I have the skill and talent that helps to complete the team. One goal for me is to go to college playing softball and to live the dream that every softball player wants to live.
I'm not only a hard working athlete but I'm also a hard working student. My life motto is that everything you do starts with how you are in the classroom. Your education and attitude reflects who you are as a person. So if you work hard in class, and have a great attitude in school you will also have it out on the field. I work hard in school to get the grades needed for college. I put a lot of dedication into my learning, because in life you need a career to support yourself. My career path I want to take is to get my Bachelor in Science of Nursing. I love helping people and try to volunteer in my community as often as I can. My goal is to use my education to find a career working with children so I can help and inspire them.
