Hi, my name is Sydney Chartier, I am a junior at Wray High School, and I am a 5’9 first baseman. I have been participating in softball since I was about 7 years old, it has always been a passion of mine, I have been constantly pushing myself to become the best I can be. A big reason softball is such a big part of my life is I flourish off the competitiveness and aggressiveness of the game, therefore this has made me the best person I can be on and off the field. My high school team is held in the fall therefore in the winter I cheer and support my high school in every way I can ,and in the summer months I play for our local softball team to keep in shape all year around.
I recently joined a club volleyball team, I started around the age of 7 in cheerleading and volleyball. I am also involved in a few after school clubs which includes FCCLA (Family Community Career Leaders of America) and FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). I will be graduating in the year 2022. This year I have partaken in a college class from my local community college, it is important to work as hard as I can in school to keep my GPA as high as possible. I would love to pursue my dream and continue softball throughout college! I believe that hard work and dedication are essential in season and in the offseason, I am eager to put in the effort to show that I am capable to be the best version of myself that I can be.
