I started playing t-ball at four years old and since have fallen in love with everything about the game. I went on to play travel on a 10U league at seven. Shortly after, my family and I went to Cooperstown, NY to watch my brother play baseball at dreams park and I saw a girl pitcher. That is when my first real dream started. I began playing on a baseball team and continued to play for four years to so that one day I can play in Cooperstown. My primary position was pitcher, but I also was back up catcher and played third and first base. At twelve my dream came true as me and my team headed to Cooperstown. I was one of two girls out of 104 teams competing that week. I was able to strike out several boys from the number two seed from California. I work hard on and off the field and academically as well. As a freshman last year and throughout my sophomore year, I was the starting Catcher on my High School Varsity softball team and the number 4 batter in the lineup. I was a leader in the county this year with 31 RBI's, 5 home runs and had 195 put outs out of 199 chances. My team and I won 3rd place in regionals. I also made Student Government last year as a freshman and continue my duties.
My current dream is to play college softball and work hard along side my teammates and coaches. I have always been told by coaches and teammates that I have a special character because I try not to get down and always help build my teammates and always get along well with players and coaches. I am always looking for something new to learn about the game.
