Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Ashton Adkins and I am 17 years old from Starke, Florida. I attend Bradford High School and will graduate in 2014. I am 5'6 and my positions are RHP, 1st and 3rd. My strong points as a player include having movement on my pitches, a solid defensive glove and my bat. For the 2013 season I was choosen First Team All State, All Region, All First Coast and received the Scholar Athlete Award. As the starting varsity pitcher I was able to be apart of making history with our high school team, leading us to our first State Final Four. It is my dream and goal to play in college and I am looking for a school where I can achieve both in the classroom and on the softball field. A school where I can bring my dedication, hard work and excitement for the game. I am open to all types of schools. My goal is to play at the collegiate level where I can bring my heart, hustle and desire and make a direct impact on a team.
