Madison Taylor '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Madison Taylor.  I am 15 years old and in the graduation class of 2022. The purpose of this statement is to express my desire and passion to play softball in college.     Playing softball has helped me understand the true meaning of commitment, work ethic (on and off the field),  the meaning of team and has provided the foundation for me achieve success in the classroom, ball field and as a person in society.  I currently play softball for North Paulding High School,  in Dallas, Georgia (Class 7A – the highest level in Georgia).   My travel team is Easton Elite Speed located in Kennesaw, GA.    I play pitcher (RHP), middle infielder, left field and I bat right handed.   I have experienced a great deal of growth on the softball field and in the classroom (4.0 GPA) over the past few years and that has translated to much more confidence in my abilities. I’m committed to tackling new challenges, trying new things, being a leader and making sure that I’m accountable to my family, teammates and friends.

I want to use my passion for softball as a vehicle to go to college and graduate with a degree in education, business, communications or theater. Softball has taught me teamwork (working with teammates and having each other’s back) and how important that is in life. I look forward to taking the leadership skills, that my coaches say I portray through my actions on the field, into my high school years and my future college team. I believe that I have the talent to play college softball, but more importantly I am working every day on both softball and life skills (fundamentals) to make an impact on your softball program.  Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
