Kaitlyn Gardner-Lewis '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kaitlyn Gardner , I am a 2021 catcher and attend Dutchtown High school .  I currently play for GA Fire 18u Gold. My primary position on this team is catching . When giving free time outside of softball I enjoy drawing, painting ,baking/cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Since I was a  kid I’ve always had my mind set on becoming a veterinarian. Not once was my mind changed as I got older. Helping animals and taking care of them is something I want to do. I pushed myself to do the best I can to achieve this goal. Becoming a veterinarian is something I’ve always wanted to do and attending college was the way to do so. Once I realized softball would be my gateway ,I wanted to do nothing more but better my skills and compete with  the best.

My goal is to earn Bachelor of Science ,Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine , or Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry. Becoming a veterinarian and earning a degree is a couple  of the few priorities I have set for college .

 Another would be getting the help needed to better my skills to play and compete on the college level .  I am willing to do what is needed to be the best player I can be. Taking constructive criticism and  coaching tips to hone my work is something I am looking forward to become a better athlete.
