Softball has always been a way for me to express myself. I can show off my skills that I work so hard to develop. I am also able to forget all the stresses of my day to day life. When I was seven, I wanted to play volleyball, but I thought it was called softball. My parents listened to me and signed me up for softball. Soon I realized that we were talking about different sports. I went ahead and completed that season, and I fell in love with the game. I genuinely enjoy the game. I enjoy going to practice and working hard so that I can get better. I always want to put in the extra work and be the best that I can be, and I think that sets me apart as a team player.
In college, I want to study Psychology. I want to work specifically with children and teens. Psychology has always been something that has interested me, and I have seen how much of a difference you can make in someone’s life. I want to do everything I can to be that difference for someone. I have overcome so much throughout my life and softball has always been an outlet for me. I would love to be able to continue my softball journey in college.
