Ann Jones '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, my name is Ann-Margaret Jones. I am 16 years old and I graduate in the class of 2020. I am a very versatile player, I have played every position on the field. I can play anywhere but my primary positions are Middle Infield  or if needed Outfield. During the High School season my coach had me work some at catcher, but I started at second base . I consider myself as a very hard working athlete and I have a very high softball IQ, I am always focused on the next play.  I continue to work on my fielding, hitting, and mental game. Many coaches have told me I am a very good base runner. I am aggressive and if I have an opportunity to advance to another base, I take it.  I am also quick, I have been clocked at a 2.8 home to first so I have a chance to beat out a bunt if I need to advance a runner or to take an extra base on a hit. My goals for the season are to develop more range in the field and to get quicker running. I also want to be able to hit with more power.  am looking to play in a division 1 or 2 school that is the right fit for me and that has a nursing or med program.  Thank you for reading and I hope to hear from you soon.
