My name is Alyssa Christensen. My plan as of right now is to complete all four years of high school and graduate with an associates' degree and a CNA license. I've been playing softball ever since I was old enough to play recreation ball which is about 4 or 5. I've grown love and passion for softball as it is the only sport I play. I am definitely not the best one on the field. I know I have room for growing and advancing my knowledge. In the summer of 2016, I was still playing recreation softball. I played mainly third base, but I played all other infield positions throughout the season. The other position I played often was first base because I am left handed. That same season I hit the fence a few times with the furthest being 208 yards. I have not yet played high school softball, so I do not know where my coach may place me in the field. I am excited to see what this opportunity may bring to me.
