My biggest priorities in life are God, family, and school, but my passion is softball. One of the main reasons I would like to play softball in college is the passion I have for the game. Softball has been a very important part of my life for the past 5 years. Everything I do is dedicated to being a better softball player. That means in the classroom, on the diamond and most importantly my relationship with my teammates, family and God.
I have learned respect, teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership and most of all hard work. My high school coach, Erin Sullivan has been very inspirational to me. Her work ethic and philosophy has guided me during the last two years on and off the diamond.
I'm a player that believes has a destiny to do great things at the collegiate level. Softball is my passion. I love this game, and I enjoy every second of it. I want to play at the highest competition level possible and make a big impact on any team in which I play.
During my freshman year at Queen of Peace, I was the starting 2nd baseman and batted in the cleanup position on the varsity team. At the conclusion of the season I received the Coaches Award for my dedication and hard work. My sophomore year I started at shortstop and batted cleanup. I was name SouthtownStar Player of the Week May 22nd 2014. I was Offensive player of the year for Queen of Peace. I was Honorable Mention for the 2014 All –Area softball Team from SouthtownStar. I was also selected to the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference (GCAC) All-Conference Academic Team.
I am a member of the student council and also a Peace Ambassador, a program where I help recruiting grammar school students to attend Queen of Peace High School. I also do community service work at our local hospital and our local park district working with the members of the Special Olympic athletes.
When I make it to the college level, the journey will just be beginning for me. During college, I will push myself past my own personal limits to be the best I can be. I will strive to be great in the classroom and on the diamond.
