Personal Statement

I have learned some of my most valuable lessons behind the plate of a softball diamond, and continue to do so as I complete my junior year of high school.  My experiences have taught me the importance of leadership, confidence, and teamwork in every aspect of my life, especially while I grow as a student athlete.  These skills have allowed me to be a great catcher and prepared me for development at the college level.

I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me both athletically and academically.  The educational experience is just as important to me as the amazing college softball program that I hope to be a part of!  I have always been eager to learn, holding high expectations for myself in everything that I do.   Additionally, I hope to pursue a career in Psychology that will utilize my outgoing personality, and my love for softball is constant motivation.  I believe I not only have the talent to play at the college level, but the character, drive, mentality, and leadership skills to be an influential addition to your team.  As a player of the game for over ten years, a dedicated athlete, and a starter on the varsity high school softball team, I know I have what it takes to play for you!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
