Catching is not just something I do, it's really more of who I am. I am a vocal person who likes to be a leader in life and on the field. I love presenting in class, sharing advice with friends, and commanding the softball field with my team. Softball was first introduced to me by my older sister, and since then I have not looked back. I thrive on the connection I have with my pitchers, and I make it my mission to make them look good. I openly communicate what I see in their form and how to succeed in the mental side of the game. I have been calling my own pitches for many years, and I love the mental investment it takes to be successful in this area. I strive to be the hardest working part of the team but also the most supportive. I have worked very hard to overcome any obstacles in my way, and I work hard daily to become a better softball player and teammate. I know that as I grow up and look ahead to college I will always be close to the game of softball. I can see myself coaching and giving back to the game that has given me so much.
