Personal Statement
I've been playing softball since I was five years old. When I first stepped onto the diamond, I did not know how far I wanted to go with this sport. All I knew was that I had a passion for playing it. As the years went on I knew softball was going to be a big part of my future. I loved the sport and the game; I could not keep myself away from the field.
Every time I stepped on the field I made myself a leader. I encourage my teammates by leading as an example on and off the field and in the classroom. I strive to be the hardest working athlete in the program and am very dedicated to achieving my goals.
Not only do I work hard on the field, I strive for excellence in the classroom as well. I am currently involved with our middle school softball program as a volunteer coach, so I can take my love and passion for the game and share it with younger players in our community. My school involvement does not stop with coaching as I am a member of our school students ambassadors, COALERS with Character and participate in our Madrigals program.
I want to attend college to further both my studies and softball careers. My goals for the future are to continue to make my parents, coaches and teammates proud of all my efforts in the classroom and on the field.
