Personal Statement
I began softball when I was in 4th grade just to try it because my friends were doing it. I never put a glove on before but I worked every night with my dad for 2 weeks before tryouts. I did very well and at that time I knew it was the sport I'd love.
My goals for college are to not only be a successful, team oriented athlete but also to be a successful student to gain a quality education. I want to graduate at the top of my class and gain the education to attain my post college goals which will set me up for success. I bring a hard working, positive attitude to the table that not only makes me a quality teammate but has led to my success in the class room as well.
One thing that I want, is that I just want to play softball for a team and coach that loves the game. Playing college softball and being a positive influence on a program is something I have dreamed about. I know I can deliver the attributes to be a successful player and student for the University of my choice.
