Savannah Anzaldua '16 Recruiting Profile

My goal in college would be to play softball at a competitive level while studying hard to obtain my lifetime career. I would love to study Physical Therapy while playing the sport that I love most. My biggest dream would be to play my favorite position, shortstop, although I am a very well rounded player. I am an incredibly hard worker and I practice until I get it right, and continue even when I do. I get along with my teammates well, pick them up when they're down, support them, and always respect my coaches' decisions. My effort will always be 120% during practice and on the field, doing everything I can to make the plays during games. I stand out from other recruits because I have all the passion that it takes to truly become dedicated to the game. I work as hard as I can with my sports, job, and obtaining a good GPA. Personality wise, I try to focus on the real things that matter, like grades and becoming one step closer to a perfect player. Throughout the years I've become different from other players because I have stuck with all my sports and would love to continue them through college and after, when most do it just for fun. My future and playing the sport I love are the two things I focus on and care about the most.
