Personal Statement

I started softball when I was 5 years old and it developed into an absolute love of the sport. My goal is to be able to play college level softball. I believe I am a good candidate to play at the college level because I love to work hard, I will add in extra practices all the time for my self improvement. I take my schoolwork as serious as my softball work. I am not afraid to do things that others won't and I'm not afraid to work harder than anyone else. My main positions are SS and catcher, but I also play anywhere in the outfield.

Wasn't the best of weekends, we went 1-4, it was a lot of growing pains for a new team. I know we'll come out better for the next tournament! I was 4-15 over 3 1/2 games, missed the first one for school ball. Just have to keep working on getting better.

Went 5-14, with 3 walks over 6 games, no K's!! I also threw 2 girls out stealing second in one game! It was a good tournament and great weekend overall. Sad that it was my last one this season, but I feel like I made a lot of really good improvements in my batting and definitely in my catching skills over the last year. Looking forward to next season and to continuing to improve my skills.

Rained out the first day so only got to play our 3 pool games. Went 4-5 ( 3 singles, 1 ground rule double, and reached on an error once) with one walk. Made it on base everytime I got up! Really wished we could have played more!!

Had a really fun and exciting weekend! Overall outcome was not what I wanted but personally turned in a great performance. I went 9-12 (over 5 games), with 3 doubles, 1 triple, and only 1 K. Made some greats plays at catcher and played a strong SS. Very happy with my performance but always trying to improve. On to the next tournament!

First PGF tournament and the competition was great! I only went 1-9, with 2 walks, HBP, and 2 K's. Hit the ball but these girls are good and made some plays. Can't wait to see this level of competition again!

Played a total of 6 games this weekend. I started off a little slower than I would of liked but ended up going 6-18 for the tournament. This included a double and triple in one game. Not my best performance but always learning ways to help me improve. Coming back tougher next tournament!
