Personal Statement
My name is Tessa DiPietra. I attend Bishop McNamara Catholic High School. I will graduate in 2023. I am looking for a school that will continue to make me a better person, player and a contributing member of society. I participate in softball and basketball. I’ve been playing both sports for 11yrs. I have also played travel softball for six consecutive years. Because of the pandemic I lost my freshman year of high school softball, but was fortunate enough to continue travel ball, and hitting/fielding lessons, from two very decorated former softball players to come from my area, during that time. I was moved up to the varsity level my sophomore year for both softball and basketball. Playing both sports helps me stay in shape during each offseason and helps improve my versatility in athletics. While I love both sports, softball is where my heart is and has been since a very young age. I continue to improve as a teammate on and off the field. I feel that I fit well with each team I’ve played with, because I work extremely hard, a good listener and continue to push myself to always communicate with my team.
