Maggie Militello (Committed) '21 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for taking the time to open and read my profile. My name is Maggie Militello and I am a junior at Lemont High School in Lemont, Illinois and I will graduate in the spring of 2021. To this day anybody who has known me since my first game as a little girl will tell you that I have always loved playing the game. My love for the game is why I want to continue playing at the collegiate level while looking to pursue a degree in environmental engineering, or biology. I have a weighted GPA of 4.2 out of 4. I have taken many honors and AP courses throughout high school while playing softball, participating in clubs, and working so I understand the hard work, commitment and balance it takes to be a good student, athlete and teammate.

I am a lefty/lefty first baseman/outfielder. As a Freshman at Lemont I led the team in average and on-base percentage at .558/.603 and Sophomore year I batted .556 with a team leading .650 OBP. This past travel season I batted a team leading .365 with a .440 OBP for the Illinois Vipers. I am now playing travel ball for the Windy City Ice.
