Mila Photopoulos '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Mila Photopoulos. I am a senior at Mundelein High School. Softball has always been very important to me. Along with school, it is something that I always put my best effort into. I always want to get better and work towards certain goals. Seeing your hard work pay off is what makes me want to get better everyday.

One thing that I have learned throughout my 11 years of playing softball is that team chemistry is extremely important. Having good team chemistry and making sure that everyone has a good relationship with one another is a big part of the game. Being able to trust your teammates on the field will help improve your game, and make playing more fun and memorable. One of the best feelings is playing the game that you love with some of your best friends. This is something that I have tried to work on with all the girls I've played with. Things like cheering on your teammates and picking them up after a mistake are two examples of this.
