Personal Statement
My goal ultimate goal is to play softball at a university that fits me athletically and academically. I have my sights on attending a high academic university that has a strong focus on business and economics. I consider myself an extremely hard worker and put in the extra time to reach my personal goals in and out of the classroom. I demonstrate this on the field and at practice because I know I need to challenge myself as an athlete and always improve on my skills! Because I am taking rigorous classes in high school, I have learned to manage my time with studies and sports. I have been a 2 sport player (volleyball and softball) for the last 5 years up until the start of my Junior year in high school. I am familiar with balancing my family, friends, sports and academics. I am a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. I volunteer my time tutoring students at school and working in my community. I know how to get everything done as I put forth 100% effort. On and off the field, I am a team player! I have made long lasting friendships over the years through softball which make every minute of this sport worth it!
