Personal Statement
I have been playing softball since I was 8. By the time I was 10 I knew I belonged on the field. At the age of 10 my dream was to play softball in college and today I still have the same dream. Playing in college is something many people do not have the opportunity to do, but if I get the chance it could change my life.
I try to lead by example on both my travel ball team an high school team. I am a very coachable athlete who always wants to know how I can improve myself. I set goals and do my best to achieve them. I strive to be one of the hardest working athletes in the area.
I value academics and try hard to keep good grades and a good GPA. I give pitching lessons to younger girls and volunteer at my local church. I am Class President, involved in student council, and my church's youth group.
I would like to attend college where I can get ahead in academics and push myself on the field. I am open to any colleges, small or large, as long as it's the most competitive option for me. I hope to be a role model to the other athletes in my small town that you don't have to be from the big city to play in college and that anything is possible if you work hard enough for it.
