Personal Statement

My passion is softball. The intensity and competition of the game draws me in and constantly keeps me hungry for more. Whenever I play, I'm lit with an eternal drive that excites and inspires me.

My goal is to be a college catcher. Although I will play anywhere, catching is my goal position. I also love 3rd base.

I work hard on and off the field.  While softball consumes most of my attention, grades are my first priority.

Being apart of a team is an honor and a responsibility. Effort, attitude, and cooperation are just as important as performance. My coaches and teammates look to me as a leader. A role that I hold close to my heart. I'm always looking out for the team.

Softball IQ, motivation, and focus are part of every play, and contribute to successful teamwork.

My passion is softball.

Lilli Ray

Coach's Statement:

"Lilli is a natural and vocal leader behind the dish who is committed to making herself and everyone around her better.  She makes my job much easier because of her knowledge of the game, situational awareness, and her ability to learn quickly and adapt on the fly. Lilli embraces being challenged and exceeding expectations - but never her own; she is truly never satisfied with what she accomplished yesterday.

Lilli is the epitome of a team player and is willing to do whatever is asked of her without hesitation.  She is an absolute top tier competitor and practice beast who takes every opportunity to improve on her skills, she puts in the work it takes to be an elite athlete.

In addition to her work ethic is her natural athletic abilities.  Lilli possesses a very strong throwing arm which really shines behind the plate and at 3B.  She is an explosive catcher with great lateral movement who keeps the ball in front and likes to control the running game.  Lilli is a good contact hitter with some occasional pop.  She is relied upon as a middle of the lineup hitter because of her ability to put the ball in play and make something happen.

I cannot come up with enough superlatives to express how much of a joy it is to coach this young lady and what she means to our team and organization.  She is a coach’s dream and will be an absolute asset to any team at the next level."

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
