My name is Isabella Florio and I am a 2024 graduate at South Elgin High School. I am a catcher and an outfielder and play for the Naperville Diamonds 16u-Heitman travel team. I am a very hard worker on and off the field. If I am not behind the plate catching I am in the outfield where I have a very strong arm being able to get the ball to where it needs to be anywhere on the field. Academically, I am a high honor roll student that takes pride in being able to keep up in the classroom while also being a multi-sport athlete. I have been part of the Varsity Softball Team since Sophomore year in which we took 1st place for our conference and I was also awarded Academic All-Conference. Junior Year we won both our conference, regionals and I was also awarded Academic All-Conference. Junior year I was inducted into the National Honor Society at SEHS. I have many leadership skills being a girl scout since kindergarten and also having the opportunity in spending my summer as a day camp counselor at my park district. I also enjoy volunteering and giving back to my community when I can, I am a member of the marching band, play basketball on my high school team where I am also the captain of my team and part of Storm Nation which is a student sports pep organization at my school.
My goal is to continue to be a student athlete and play at the college level for a competitive and close knit team where I can contribute and share my love for softball and experience with my teammates. I am looking to major in Chemistry with a career in Forensic Science.
