Personal Statement
Looking for a Hardworking, Dedicated, Competitive Team Player with Leadership Qualities??? Here I am!!!
I have a competitive nature, hardworking and love for the game; I started playing travel when I was 9 years old. I have had an amazing time learning the game in various positions throughout my career, which makes me a diverse player that can adapt to any position thrown at me.
I have been involved in our High School sports programs since the age of 9, as well. I started out being a manager to our Girls HS Basketball Program for 3 years, as well as, attended HS summer workouts with our Volleyball and Softball Team for the duration of my middle school years, while playing middle school sports. I found being involved since a young age, has helped me understand the importance teamwork is and how much heart is put in thru blood, sweat and tears. It has helped me understand what leadership qualities makes a great teammate and what drive truly means.
Throughout all of this I have also been involved in Travel Softball for the last 7 years, AAU basketball for 2 years and Travel Volleyball for school program for 3 years. Since High School, I have been involved in Varsity Volleyball, Varsity Basketball and Varsity Softball and continue to maintain a GPA over 3.80. I am currently taking AP classes, as a sophomore and am looking to further my college credits during my remaining years in High School. I am looking to become a Physical Therapist and/or Athletic Training, so that I can continue in a field of my passion, SPORTS!
I have 2 younger siblings that look up to me as a sister, player and mentor in many ways. I am always willing to stop to teach or guide them in all areas of their lives, in which helps me to become leader to others, as well. I believe that keeping fundamentals at heart is what strengthens a player and gives them abilities to contribute. I strive to teach them importance of grades, organization and 100% effort in school and in their school life and activities. I am a volunteer basketball coach for Alexandria Community Center and work with various programs in our community, as well as my church.
I am excited to learn more and become an integral part of the next level of learning and playing. Giving nothing less than 110% I have every day.
