Personal Statement
Hi, I’m Gabby Falls and I attend Parke Heritage High School in Indiana. I have played softball most of my life and competitively since I was nine years old. I am a right handed pitcher put also play first base and some outfield. I bat left handed mostly for power, but I can bunt and slap when needed. I have consistently played and competed with the best competition in the country. I have pitched in many large tournaments, sometimes in power pools. I have played in USA Elite Select in Kansas City, Scenic City Showcase Chattanooga, USA Nationals Virginia, and PGF tournaments (St. Louis, Mo, Peoria, Il Chicago and many others) I am learning the Tincher method of pitching and am having great results. I have increased my speed 5mph in less than 6 months. I am excited to see how much better I can get! My number one goal is to be a good teammate. I enjoy playing on teams that work hard and have a positive attitude. What sets me apart from others, is that I never give up. I have had to overcome many obstacles in my years as a pitcher and I continue to work through those battles. I am tough and cool under pressure. I enjoy having the ball in my hand when the game is on the line. I try to challenge myself to be better on the field, in the classroom and in life. I take school seriously and I am an honor student. I would love to play college softball while I get my degree in biology. I hope to work in the National Park Service.
