Personal Statement
I have been playing softball since I was four years old. The passion has stuck to me ever since. The adrenaline pumping through my veins is an indescribable feeling. The softball diamond is, and always will be, my home. When I turned 10 years old, my dad saw potential in me and decided to put me in private hitting lessons with a local instructor. All of my dedication towards improvement finally worked out when I tried out for my first "A" level team. I have put in a lot of effort, passion and determination to get to the position I am today. I think of myself as an outgoing, fun, dedicated and coachable player. I'm very eager to learn new things to improve myself in any way possible. My biggest supporters have always been my parents and I will be forever grateful for the amount of time and money they put into me so I can achieve my dream of playing college softball. They always help me to succeed in both academics and athletics. I will continue to challenge myself daily in an effort to constantly improve in the classroom and on the ball field. I aspire to lead and wholeheartedly believe that I would be an asset as a softball player and a student athlete in life beyond high school. I plan to continue to challenge myself academically and athletically.
