To some, softball is known as just another sport; but to me, softball is more than any game, any practice, or any lesson. Softball, to me, is life. It's a part of my life more than some would think. It not has only taught me how to be a teammate, but it has given me more life lessons than any teacher could. My love for the game has continued to grow since I was 6 years old. Of course at that age I never really understood the kind of impact this sport would have; but there was just something about being on a softball field that just made me feel at home. I want to leave an impact on the field, just as big as the impact softball has given me. Ever since I have stepped on the field I have been striving for the next level. It has been a life-long goal for me to play at the collegiate level.
I love this sport more than some people, (not literally), but I love how it is the one place I can really be myself. I love the feeling of having a team first, and helping others with the same goals as me, reach those goals. I love being a teammate, and being a part of an un-biological family. I love the confidence and swagger softball brings me and the way it motivates me to always work hard and to never give up. I am a very humble, passionate, and loyal player that loves leaving it all on the field.
