Personal Statement
My name is Braylen Conlon, I am a junior at Xavier Catholic High School in Cedar Rapids, IA and softball is my passion. Softball has already been a blessing in my life and over the course of the last eight years has provided me some pretty amazing opportunities. I have been able to learn from some of the best softball coaches, in addition to developing awesome friendships.
The opportunity to play softball at the college level is my short-term goal but, finding a school that also fits my major for a career in the medical field, specifically as a neonatologist is my long-term aspiration. I am a high achieving student academically with a 4.0+ GPA and ensure that my grades and school work are a priority.
I continue to push myself both in the classroom and on the field; I believe that hard work and a strong work ethic are the essential components to performing at my highest potential. I look forward to the enhancement of my game. I fully understand that there remains a great deal of work to ensure I reach my ceiling and I am willing to put in whatever it takes to become the best softball player I am capable of becoming.
