Hi my name is Shay Burmeister. I am currently a junior at Exira-Elk Horn Kimballton High School. I would love to be able to play softball at the college level, it is a dream of mine. I strive to do my best in the classroom and on the field. I currently hold a 4.0 GPA. I am also involved in basketball, golf and volleyball. I have notice that being in multiple sports that a lot of the basic skills are the same. I have been taught by great coaches, who have always taught me to go hard, be a team player, and have a strong work ethic. Other than being on the field and in the classroom, I spend a lot of time with my family. I belong to a leadership club (LEO Club) that involves volunteering for multiple projects within the community and school district. I would love to continue my athletic career after high school.
