Personal Statement
I love to compete whether I am playing on the field, the court, or the mat. One of my goals is to earn a black belt in taekwondo. These are great assets to my development as a softball player because they help me stay disciplined and mentally strong. They also help me with strength, flexibility, and body control. As a leader, I show younger kids in how to execute their moves correctly. I also lead by example in showing them what kind of attitude to have as well as the work ethic they need to be successful.
Academically I want to be as successful as possible. Maintaining an excellent GPA is one of my many academic goals. I am currently interested in obtaining a degree in exercise science/human performance.
When it comes to fine arts, I am involved in choir, theatre, and speech as well as being a big support with our band. I compete in jazz choir, various vocal solos/ensembles, and both large group and individual speech competitions. After college, I want to continue to satisfy my competitive drive and pursue a career in Mixed-Martial Arts and/or coaching softball or strength and conditioning.
