Tiffany VanBeek '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Tiffany VanBeek. I am a junior at West Lyon High School. I am involved in track, softball, and basketball but softball is my passion. I started playing softball when I was pretty young and I always loved to play. My 8th grade, freshman, and sophomore year I played on my high school varsity team. It was very intimidating at first playing with girls older then me, but after a while we all drew closer and became very good friends and teammates. My sophomore year I was awarded Siouxland Conference 2nd team, and I led my team in RBI's with 27. Off of the field my academics are very important to me. I am apart of the National Honor Society, I have lettered in academics for 2 years,and I am apart of the Honor Role. Overall I am a very dedicated student-athlete. I believe that I am very mentally tough. In the off season you will see me in the weight room or in the gym trying to get better. I always give 110% in what I do whether it be sports or academics. I have a great work ethic, I am very coachable , and most of all I love playing the game of softball.
