Abby Pate '23 Recruiting Profile

My passion for softball ignited as soon as the t-ball competitions started. My family had always been a part of a slow pitch, a baseball, or a softball team; so finally, it was my turn to make a name for myself. I was (am) ecstatic for any practice or any game. I was (am) determined to play my heart out and leave everything out on the field whenever I walked onto one. Leading up to now, as a multi-sport athlete, I have learned that I am very driven and competitive; however, I am also able to get along with my teammates and positively lead those who need to be lead. Many of my numerous coaches would say that I am a coachable athlete who will do whatever it takes to succeed, on and off of the diamond. From early morning to late night extra reps, I will do it all.  Overall, I am looking for a school that will allow myself to grow as an athlete, grow as a student, and grow as a person.
