Personal Statement
I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. I truly believe I could bring a lot to any collegiate team including leadership, loyalty, perseverance, hard work, and dedication. I have dedicated most of my time to the sport of softball and to my team which I know will carry on as I reach the college level. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college softball career, I will strive to be an asset to the pitching rotation, infield, and batting lineup. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field- knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches, and the school I attend. My personal achievements so far in softball are being named 2nd Team All Three Rivers League as a freshman. This season for my varsity softball team I am the starting pitcher during the first game and starting catcher during second game. Playing these positions, along with middle infield, since little league (ages 4-12) and travel ball (ages 8-14) has helped me gain a lot of experience. This summer I plan on attending weights four days a week, provided by my basketball coach.
