Personal Statement
My best quality as a softball player is that I am very coachable and I work hard. I take corrections and apply that to my playing, I am also willing to try something new. I'm excited about my future as a college athlete and what more I will accomplish with academics.
In my free time, I like to play the violin. I am currently involved in Olathe Youth Symphony and I will be playing the violin at the highest level at Gardner Edgerton high school. I have a current GPA of 3.75 and I have been on the Honor Roll for the last 2 years.
When it comes to choosing what school I would like to attend, I am mainly looking at Midwest schools, but I am open to attending any college that will help me meet my academic goals while playing softball at the collegiate level. It doesn't matter if it is a large or small college; but I would like to compete at the highest level if possible. I want to major in animal bioscience but I understand that my choice of major may change during my high school years. I have set this goal for myself, study hard, work hard, play hard and practice even harder.
Thank you for your consideration.
