Personal Statement
Hi, I'm Madyson Sennett, a 17-year-old 3rd baseman from Hays, Kansas. Softball has always been the sport that I have loved. I will and have always made time for softball to work on my skills and abilities. I am constantly wanting to improve and get better every day.
During the offseason, I work with my summer coach to perfect/tweak my game. I also play high school basketball in the winter, so many evenings, after basketball practice, I will hit and work on fielding. I love working on softball year-round. I believe it's important to keep working to maintain my skills and get better.
I play summer and fall softball with Western Kansas Extreme and we travel almost every weekend. I also have softball workouts 2-3 times per week during the off-season and I play basketball for Hays High School all while maintaining a 3.5 GPA. In addition to academics and athletics, I have a part-time job and I am also a member of R3, my local church's youth group.
I am looking for a college with a fun atmosphere but still productive in helping me reach my goals and potential both academically and athletically. I want to have a rewarding college experience both on and off the field. I am always up for a challenge, so I want my physical therapy program to be vigorous and challenging.
