Personal Statement
All my life sports have had a big impact on me becoming who I am today, I have grown up around sports my whole life. Ever since I was just a little girl watching my big sister play in tournaments I have wanted to play myself and fell in love with the sport, before I even got my first chance to play at the age of five. Once I finally got the chance to play, I learned so many things such as communication, being on time, helping others, and everyday life lessons. The things that softball has taught me that I excel at most is leadership and always helping others. The field has not only been a place to learn lessons, but it also acts as a place of escape, just like home.
Getting to go and play onto the next level is something I am extremely looking forward to getting to do, and continually working harder in order to get here, not only on my skill but also my leadership. For my college experience, I hope to grow as a person and gain many new aspects that will help me through life. I want to find a great college academically and athletically, so I can excel in everything I do later in life. I hope to have a well-rounded college experience, with softball helping me find a way to make this happen. My goal is to leave college knowing I have become the best version of myself and that I will always give 110% no matter the job.
