Personal Statement
I want to work for the FBI which starts with a degree in Criminal Justice. Playing softball on the collegiate level has been a dream of mine since I was 8 and I have taken every opportunity to play since then. I am a Christian first. I conduct myself according to my beliefs and try to be an inspiration to others around me. I do volunteer work in 4-H and in my community. I work hard and dedicate 110% to the things I do. I am a natural leader and get things done. I take pride in my team and mentor the younger players while working with them on and off the field. I don't take for granted the opportunities that are afforded to me, I think, in part because of the background I came from. My real mom was a drug addict who neglected me, my brother and sister. She would get high with us in the same room and we never knew when our next meal would be. Kelly and John took us from her when I was 7 and have given us a life we would have never known with our biological mother. As a result I have a greater appreciation than most for the opportunities I get and the relationships I forge.
