Personal Statement
During my seventh grade year I was given the opportunity to play at the varsity level. During this time I was only a DH but being given this opportunity showed me that I have the potential to be great at the game I love. As the years went on I focused very hard to meet the goals of playing at the varsity level. My freshman year of high school I was given the chance to be a starter at first base on varsity. That told me that my coaches saw my hard work and dedication to the sport and I haven't given up yet.
I am proud to say that I have learned the true meanings of teamwork, communication, dedication and sportsmanship. When playing a sport those words will have a huge impact on someone's life. When someone figures out the meanings then they will not only use them within the sport but they will put them to use in the classroom. Throughout high school I decided that I was interested in the movements and muscles of the human body. I have dedicated time to study and learn how the human body functions which has sparked my interest in Physical Therapy. With my skills of leadership, work-ethic, and compassion I believe that I have the skills and talent to compete at the higher level
