Personal Statement
I have been playing softball for eight years, and travel for four years. The highlight of my career is being the Maryland State Champions for two years straight. The road to that was hard and full of bumps. The most I grew in that time was the first year of travel. I had learned the time and dedication it took to play. Also I quickly picked up on the time management skill that was needed. It was hard at first trying to adjust, but I figured it out eventually.
During my four years of playing travel I feel like I have seriously grown as a person. Not only have I learned about the craft for playing the sport I also learned other important skills I can use in everyday life. Like strategy, teamwork, respect, and dedication. Academics are just as if not more important to me. I want to ensure my future with a good education that can help me find a job. I’m looking for a school that is going to help me achieve my goals. I am certain that with my leadership, work-ethic, and determination I can compete at a college level.
