Personal Statement
I started playing baseball at the age of 5. I successfully competed with boys up to the age of 12. It took a short while for me to adjust to softball, but once the adjustment was made it became the game that I love and enjoy. One thing you may not know about me is that I am ambidextrous. I play left handed, but I write with my right hand.
What makes me an excellent candidate for a collegiate team is that I am a high achiever and a winner. I have won multiple championships on every level from little league baseball, middle school cheerleading, recreation softball, travel softball and high school softball. My desire to learn on and off the field also makes me a great selection for a collegiate team. Education is very important to me. I am seeking an educational environment that will prepare me to fulfill my professional goals. I have known for a while that I want to be an Engineer. I believe my competiveness, quest for excellence and toughness are characteristics that will assist me to be a successful collegiate softball player as well as an engineer.
