Personal Statement

    I like to set high goals for myself and have always managed to achieve them. My ultimate goal is to become a Primary Care Physician specializing in Sports Medicine. While attending a college that will provide me with the tools necessary to obtain my degree, I also hope to continue playing the game of softball.

    I've been playing competitive softball since I was 10 and quickly worked my way up to playing for a high caliber team. I also enjoy playing volleyball in the Fall, which helps to keep me active and in shape. Being the daughter of a college athlete who graduated from a D1/ BIG 10 school, my father has taught me the importance of commitment and dedication while staying extremely humble. The goals I want to achieve will never be handed to me and success will only happen with effort and work.
