Personal Statement

Softball has helped me to grow as a player, teammate, and overall person throughout my entire life. I love the values that softball has taught me so far, and I would like to continue to be a student of the game for as long as I can. Softball has allowed me to become a better leader both on and off the field. I am a very focused person. On the field, I know when to get to work and am very good at holding my teammates accountable for making sure they stay focused as well. In the classroom, I am a very driven and successful student. I take multiple AP classes, and I balance those classes with others that help me to be successful overall. During my season, I am strictly focused on school and softball because it is really what I love to do and am passionate about, and I want to continue growing in both of these things at the collegiate level.
