Ava Youngquist '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Ava Youngquist. I am a 60+ mph right hand pitcher and middle infielder. My journey on and off the field has made me who I am today, and I am excited to continue to grow as both a player and a person. Softball has taught me invaluable lessons in perseverance, teamwork, and discipline. My goal is to bring not only my skill and determination to every game but also the mindset that every challenge is an opportunity for improvement.

Outside of sports, I have an interest in chemistry and pre-pharmacy. I find joy in understanding the science behind the world around me, and I am motivated to pursue a career that combines my passion for helping others with my love of chemistry. I am excited about the possibility of exploring these fields further in college, where I hope to challenge myself academically and prepare for a future in the healthcare industry.

I am looking for a college that will push me to become the best version of myself—both on the field and in the classroom. I am looking for a place where I can not only develop my skills as a softball player but also engage in an academic program that will help me achieve my long-term career aspirations. Most importantly, I want to be part of a community that values hard work, respect, and teamwork, where I can continue to grow and give back to others as both a student and an athlete.

I am excited for the opportunities ahead and the challenges I will face as I continue to pursue my passion for softball and my academic interests. With a strong work ethic and the support of those around me, I am confident that I will thrive in the next stage of my journey.
