Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Mercedez Bellanger and I have always dreamed of playing college softball and winning a nation championship. I am the first generation athlete for my family and have the support and guidance from my high school coaches, athletic director and my family and friends. I have the dedication and motivation to sacrifice myself to be the best person for my team I can be on and off the field. I live for the moments when i'm under pressure, it's my thing I love. Helping my team out whether on offense, defense, school or socially is something I've been known for my past few years in high school. I as an individual is being the best student and role model, not just for my younger sibling but for my reservation. I want to let young girls and boys that if you believe in yourself by putting hard work and dedication together it's unstoppable. I'm currently looking into the biology field or criminal justice where I will pursue my dream job. I want to carry my education and softball career into college making my people of my reservation even more proud.
