Olivia McNallan '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Olivia McNallan. I am a shortstop/slap hitter that can also swing away for power or lay down a bunt anytime during a game. I am a class of 2024 currently attending Mayo High School in Rochester, MN.

Softball has been a huge part of my life, and things that I have accomplished throughout it whether that was in softball, school, or life. Softball has taught me leadership, perseverance, composure, self-discipline, teamwork, and most importantly has given me relationships that will last a lifetime. I am currently a captain for the MN Bombers 16u National- Makela, and I use that role for leadership and communication. One of my highest values is leading by example and making sure everyone is seen and heard. On the field I bring energy, and that is something I will always be proud of. Any of my teammates will tell you, no matter the situation, I can make someone laugh and I will be the loudest in the dugout whether we are down by 5 or up by 10.  I am also a hard worker in the classroom because being a student always comes first. I maintain a 4.0 unweighted GPA while being in honors and AP classes. I make time to tutor my peers if they are struggling as I would want someone to do for me. I am looking to pursue a career in engineering while playing at a competitive collegiate program. I am open to any school around the US, and I hope I can find a good fit for me and you.
