Personal Statement
My name is Kailey Ahlstrom and I am a 2018 LHP and left-handed hitter. I am a driven board scholar and honor roll student athlete with a goal to become a dominant D1 pitcher.
Recent achievements include hitting 63 mph (age 15) 60 mph (age 14), lettering in softball as a freshman, board scholar and principal's honor roll.
I love pitching and playing for a team that plays with inner confidence and drive. When I take the mound I transform from a somewhat shy reserved person to a proud leader in control of my own destiny. My mental approach to the game is on lock. In my mind's eye, I am able to see each pitch before it's thrown. I want the ball in the circle when it counts because I have confidence that I will give my team the best chance at winning. Playing for coaches and with teammates that share in the same goals and confident approach to the game is important.
I am also focused on getting a good education. The college I select will have a strong chemistry and earth science department in which I can explore my interests.
I am excited at the prospect of becoming a D1 student athlete. As a pitcher, I look forward to giving my team every opportunity to win, every outing. Through hard work and dedication I know that I will achieve my goals.
If you are looking for a 2018 left handed pitcher please check out my bio. I will be posting a new video soon as I have recently increased velocity and movement. Thank you!
