Personal Statement

At 8 years old, I knew I wanted to play D1 softball and have worked hard almost every day towards that goal.  I love to hit and make plays in the outfield.  I  have a pitching machine in my basement and most weeks, I get in 100  swings 5 days a week.  Weight training is my second passion  and I lift  5 days a week (along with conditioning) with my dad in our basement gym.  I'm very competitive  at everything I do and strive to become better every day.   That includes academically where I push myself with challening A/P and Honor courses.

  • I workout five days a week in my basement gym. I can squat 185 pounds, deadlift 215 pounds, bench press 125 pounds, and can do 8 pullups. My workout split is the following Monday-arms, Tuesday-legs, Wednesday-chest, Thursday-back, and Friday-shoulders. Following my weights I do around 6 to 8 minutes of core work. Then I do conditioning which consists of either running, biking, or circuit.
