Skylar Eaves '21 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to play college softball. I will always give 100% effort in everything I do on and off the field. Playing college softball has been a dream of mine since I was in the fourth grade. I love this sport with all my heart and do not know what my life would be like if I did not play. I am a very dedicated player and a team player. Softball has taught me how to have good sportsmanship and how to work as a team to accomplish a goal. I am also very passionate about my academics. Academics is very important to me and I plan to continue to work hard in them so I can go to a good college. I plan on going to college to study to be a neonatal nurse. 

I am a contact hitter and I can also bunt. I am going to aim for hitting in gaps and find a way to get on base or move my teammate around the bases. I want to be the batter on deck who had to find a way to help her teammate score when there is two outs, because I know that I can find a gap or way to bring them in to score. I am a utility player because I was brought up to know how to play every position on the field. I have experience at each position and enjoy playing all of them.
