Personal Statement
I hear people say that their going to do this or be that after high school which is amazing, but with me it's totally different because I am very goal oriented and will do everything in my power to achieve my goals. I believe that you are only as good as you want to be. For instance, my academic goals in high school are to graduate first in my class, become Valedictorian, and to get as many scholarships as I can, so my journey through college and medical school won't be such a burden financially.
Secondly my goals, I want to accomplish in softball before I graduate include becoming an All District player, or All Conference player. I also want to try to get Academic All State 1st Team again. But if for some reason I can't fulfill any of those goals my biggest one is to just get better and help my team in any way I can, so maybe my senior year we can win our district.
Ever since I was a little girl I always told my parents "when I grow up I'm going to be just like you guys" which at the time they both were paramedics. But like any good parents they told me to dream big, and that I could accomplish anything I wanted to as long as I tried my best and never gave up. So from that moment on all I've ever wanted to be is a doctor. At the time I really didn't care what kind of doctor I grew up to be, I just wanted to be that someone people counted on, and came to for help. So, really my ultimate dream is to graduate from medical school top of my class, and become a well-rounded, respected doctor that is able to make a difference; whether it be small or big, all I want to do is help.
