Personal Statement
Playing in the district championship my junior year of high school has taught me many things. After winning this game, I realized how much hard work pays off. This year I have learned how to be a leader and push myself and my teammates to be better. My high school team had to over come adversity and learn how to work together. After holding up the district plaque I felt like all of the hard work paid off.
Playing on my high school and club teams I have learned what it is like to be not only a leader but what commitment is like to your coaches, yourself, and your teammates. I am looking for a program that not only benefits me athletically but academically as well. I believe that I not only have enough talent to play at the college level but the character, leadership, and work ethic skills as well. I believe that I will contribute all of the things to your team and make an impact while doing so.
